The 18th Anniversary of the FurBall Open

After years of friends limping over and tapping me on the shoulder during the FurBall Open 3-on-3 basketball tournament with the "suggestion" that we switch the event to golf, we finally made the move to the links in 2008. It turned out to be a GREAT move, not only because of how much fun the event was but also because over the past nine years we have generated $51,000 (golf tourney revenue only) for the Scott Hughes Endowment Fund in the new format.

I hope everyone is able to join us again this year...see you at the FurBall!

Format
Net Blind Draw Match Play. What does this mean?

Everyone plays their own ball.
In the interest of time, 8 will be the highest score on any hole. Before hitting your 9th shot, pick up and take a "X" on the hole.
Players will be placed by random draw into a NCAA-style bracket while playing.
At the end of the tourney, during the post golf dinner, we will "match cards" head to head to take players through the bracket until we determine a champion.
The tournament will be played out based on net scores. We will, however, have prizes for low gross score as well.
Additional prizes will be awarded for long drive and KP holes.

Dinner/Awards Ceremony
Entry fee includes dinner at the Oregon Gold Club following the tournament. Additional dinners for family members may be purchases as part of your entry (see registration page).
